How do I book a urology appointment?
Call 07438 600016, message the same number on WhatsApp, or email info@maryleboneurology.com. Our booking team is available every day from 8am to 8pm. Appointment availability is confirmed when you contact us.
Where is Marylebone Urology based?
Our MDC clinic address is 73 Baker Street, Marylebone, London W1U 6RD. Your appointment location will be confirmed when booking. Specialist procedures may require a separate hospital appointment.
Are consultations available from 8am to 8pm every day?
These are our booking and enquiry hours. Consultation and treatment times depend on the clinician and service, and are confirmed by the team.

Urology consultations are with Mr Giulio Garaffa, Consultant Urological Surgeon. The team confirms your appointment details, location and fee when you book.
What should I bring to my consultation?
Relevant test results, details of previous treatments and your current medication list.
Can a doctor refer a patient?
Yes. Clinicians can contact our booking team by phone or email to discuss a referral and obtain instructions for securely transferring clinical information.
Tests & shockwave at MDC
Can I book tests directly with MDC?
Yes. The shockwave, semen analysis, sperm DNA fragmentation and blood test links take you to the relevant Marylebone Diagnostic Centre page for details and booking. Clinical suitability and preparation requirements vary by service.
Is shockwave suitable for every man with erectile dysfunction?
No. Suitability depends on the cause of the symptoms and clinical assessment. Read the MDC shockwave page or arrange a consultation to discuss options; benefit is not guaranteed.
Does shockwave straighten Peyronie’s curvature?
EAU guidance advises against using shockwave to improve penile curvature. It may have a role in managing pain in the active phase, after clinical assessment.
Do I need semen analysis and DNA fragmentation testing?
They assess different aspects of sperm health. The appropriate tests depend on your history and clinical question. Ask your clinician which tests would be useful before booking.

The website describes specialist consultation options and Mr Garaffa’s wider expertise. It does not imply that any procedure takes place at Baker Street. Location, treating provider and availability are confirmed separately for each procedure.
Are fees shown on the website?
No. Consultation and treatment fees are confirmed by the team when you book or after assessment.
Privacy & urgent symptoms
Should I send medical records by WhatsApp?
Use WhatsApp for initial booking enquiries. Ask the team for a secure route before sending medical reports, referral letters, identification documents or intimate images.
What should I do if my symptoms are urgent?
Do not wait for a booking reply if you have sudden severe testicular pain, cannot pass urine, or have an erection lasting more than 3–4 hours (or a painful erection lasting more than one hour if you have sickle cell disease). Seek urgent emergency assessment. In a life-threatening emergency, call 999.
